The global HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) industry has been steadily growing due to continuous innovation and increasing demands for environmental protection. As of 2023, the market size of this industry is estimated to be approximately $206.3 billion, with an expected average annual growth rate of 6.3% until 2028.
The technical components of HVAC systems include heat pumps, air conditioners, ventilation devices, and air purification systems. The application of air science is also a crucial part of HVAC technology. Air science is broadly composed of air purification, hygiene management, ensuring ventilation and thermal comfort, and sensor technology for measuring air quality and environmental conditions.
Air purification technology is particularly important in urban and industrialized areas, contributing to the improvement of indoor air quality by effectively removing harmful substances and unpleasant odors through dust collection and deodorization technologies.
In the hygiene sector, technologies such as UV-LED, ionizers, and antimicrobial coatings are employed to block the spread of bacteria and viruses in the air, providing a safe and hygienic environment.
Ventilation and thermal comfort include technologies that optimize air circulation within buildings and maintain appropriate temperature and humidity, ensuring a comfortable living environment for users.
Sensor technology is utilized as a key component of smart systems that monitor indoor air quality in real-time and automatically adjust environmental conditions based on this data.
