This presentation provides a comprehensive review of the both CFRP drilling and trimming process, encompassing both conventional machining techniques and unconventional approaches. The study investigates a range of methods including conventional cutting, laser beam machining, robot arm machining, electrical discharge machining, and ultrasonic machining, evaluating their advantages and limitations in the fabrication of CFRP components. We analyzed the effectiveness of each technique in terms of accuracy, surface integrity, defect occurrence, and productivity. Furthermore, the review explores the latest advancements and emerging trends in CFRP machining processes, emphasizing the potential for enhanced efficiency and quality. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the strengths and limitations associated with different machining methods, offering valuable insights to researchers and industry professionals in selecting the most appropriate approach for CFRP component production.
