Abstract
We introduce development and commercialization of medical devices with optical methods and digital methods. Before introducing main topic, we shortly introduce Osong Medical Innovation Foundation.In the first chapter, non-invasive optical biopsy techniques combined with a commercial endoscope have been presented for the diagnosis of a cancer. We show two different endoscopic fluorescence imaging techniques using the FDA approved fluorescence dye for the detection of a cancer. We also introduce the medical device with other optical techniques such as immunofluorescence method, optical coherence tomography, and total internal reflection method.In the second chapter, we introduce a digital healthcare medical device for patient healthcare management and monitoring. We show wearable devices to detect bio signals such as ECG, PPG, temperature and to provide the wireless data communication for digital healthcare service with mobile apps.
