A challenge for implementing the roll to roll nanoimprint is the preparation of large area mold, even more difficult is to create mold without visible seams. In this talk, the visually tolerable tiling method was introduced to make large area patterned mold which can be used in roll to roll imprinting process and feasible applications were introduced. With small area micro/nano pattern molds, VTT method could produce scaled up mold with same features as original mold without any visible seam lines. By using VTT method, large size metal wire grid polarizers and micro prism sheet were fabricated and their potentials were confirmed as feasible applications. Also, surface energy analysis was done to explain how VTT method can be realized. The development of VTT method could enable the imprint process for mass production in practical applications.
