Introduction
With the opening of the era of the 4th industrial revolution, the demand for mechanical engineering is increasing with the expanding regions that the discipline involves in: manufacturing technology, micro-nano technology, advanced control technology of drones and robots, next-generation energy development, and advanced technology using AI.
An integral part of UNIST since the institute’s foundation in 2009, the Department of Mechanical Engineering of UNIST has attracted exceptional individuals and addressed the critical technological challenges of the day. The department has also successfully provided professionals to research and engineering sectors, fueling dynamics in a broad range of engineering. We, including faculty members and staff alike, would like to keep ourselves in front in Mechanical Engineering and train the leaders of the future, through which build the momentum of growth of Korea.
